Monday February 28, 2011 was a beautiful day at the Jaffa Port – bright and sunny and welcoming for the two hundred and fifty nonprofit professionals who joined us for the day at the Future of Nonprofit Summit: Israel or FONSI. Causil co-produced this amazing conference with REACH3K in Israel.
As has become custom for the Causil Nonprofit Summits, our speakers shared over thier best practices and brilliant insights in the areas of communications, fundraising and technology.
There were a few note worthy speaker comments from the day:
Dubby Arbel of Midot said that
“those running complex organizations should be well educated and well compensated.”
While Dan Brown of eJewishphilanthropy exclaimed that FONSI was the
“most gender balanced conference I’ve been to in a long time.”
The attendees enjoyed thier time and felt it was a valuable day. Here are a selection of thier feedback:
Thank you for yesterday’s conference (“summit”). It was well organized and well-presented. The place was great, the Drum Cafe was really great.
It was brilliant! Kol Hakavod. I know what it takes to organize such an event, and only those who have done one can really appreciate the extremely hard work involved and the continuous crisis after crisis to be solved. You and your colleagues pulled off a great event. You all can be very proud of staging such an event and filling up the theatre
You guys put together a great conference. I don’t know what when on behind the scenes (there’s always something happening behind the scenes but from my perspective as an attendee it came off as being well organized and smoothly run. It also afforded me great opportunities to network.
Some choose to write about FONSI publicly. You can read their blog posts here:
Causil & FONSI even received some wonderful coverage in the Press:
